I've never had a car with a sunroof before...so I was quite fascinated with my new car.
Hooked a new battery up, and was playing with all the power accessories.
Power locks, Power windows, CD Player, and most koolest. Sunroof!

Unfortunately before it returned to its original position it got stuck. Sh!t-
so I think I can probally just buy new sunroof tracks to fix the problem. I think something broke off, since it didnt have TLC before. Anyone know anyone who's selling them, or where I can find some?

I didnt get a good look at what broke...it was COLD...DARK...and I was LATE for college...so I just threw a tarp/cover over top incase it snowed.

Any suggestions...opinions?

A while after I got my talon the same thing happened to me. It would close all but about 3/4 of the way then just kick back. My problem was whatever little piece broke off got stuck in the track and I could never find it that night. I tried again the next day and finall got the piece out. No problems since. I am really not even sure what piece broke off. But before you go off spending money buying something you may want to check the tracks and maybe run something through them to make sure no little piece is stuck there that you can not easily see. Hope you get it fixed. Good luck.

nope. i broke something.

The piece circled in yellow is missing on the right side.

I wonder if that could be the cause of it.

That's the stop for when the inner visor is slid closed, and what pushes the visor back into the headliner when the sunroof's retracted. Look for the pieces of it to be jammed in your track and causing the jam. Only six torx screws hold the glass on, it lifts right off and out of the way.
I doubt you could get just that piece from the dealer.

well i got that piece...heres what happened..
I never had a sunroof before, so i was pushing the button back and forth like a lil boy at a toy store.
and the lid underneath was being pushed back, and jammed underneath to where when I go to push the sunroof forward is wasnt going anywhere, so I gave it a lil push while i was pushing for it to go forward and it popped, and the lid came out, and the piece broke off...so now it wont move on the right side...the left side looks like it wants to go down, but the right side wont.
I'm going to go to a junk yard and see if I can find another assembly.
