Hi all,
I was looking at a first gen eclipse for sale. now its a gs converted to a gst, low milage motor 44k red top 4g63t long rod or something like that, new clutch and turbo. I was wondering if anyone who's converted they're eclipse to a turbo has had any probs with them? for only 1700 this sound like a good deal to me :confused:
 
as long as who ever did the conversion switched ECU, mas, engine and all the engine parts (pipes, injectors and so on) as well as put a turbo fuel pump in the car, its basically the same thing as a GST. You will have all the same problems regular (non converted) gsts have ROFL

not sure what you mean by red top long rod thing
 
He probably means a 4g63t longblock with a red valve cover.
