where did you find those and how much were they????

it looks to me to be a angel eye kit. bmw guys do this a lot and there are few pretty cheap kits. it looks pretty good. this is the first time i have seen anyone do that with it. cool.

so much for night vision...

Honestly, Want to know how to make a kit like that for less than 10 bucks?

Go to your moms house... Go to the nearest window that has those cheap ass plastic blinds. Steal the clear plastic thing that adjusts the angle of the blinds. (you know, the hexagon shaped clear plastic rod)

All you have to do is heat that plastic up to about 200 or until its maleable (toaster ovens work) wrap it around something that has the same diameter as what you are putting it around. This creates a fish like shape O<

Cut little lines into the plastic with a hack saw, cut 1 line just a couple millimeters deep every half a cm or so.

Cut the plastic to fit the shape you want it to go around, and place an LED at each end.

Voila! insta light ring. and that my friends, is optics 101 for cheap car lighting effects.

cant say that I like it, but very original, great to see minds at work.

if it was a little dimmer I think it would look better, just wait until a cop pulls next to you at a red light and see if he starts nosing around. how did you wire it? through your headlights switch or a seperate switch? would be really nice on a show car but I think it would distract me too much if I was driving.

Looks great!

By the looks of it is a little on the bright side though. Some dimmer LED's or hooking up a dimmer to it might be a better idea depending on how bright it is in person.

Thanks guys for all the postive input! Yea actually i found the halos at advanced auto for under 10 bucks! and yes i did keep the stock lights in the dash, they actually look really good. i dim them a little.
