Basically I am making my ride into this car, I already have the kit and i am in the process of sanding and fitting. here is where you come in, I have chosen a few wheels but i can't decide. What size do you think will look best here , and do you think i should go staggered. i was thinking hp racing r5 in gunmetal 18x8 not sure of the offset though. Start the beatings!

I don't usually like the body kit look but that car is done wheel. Check for a thread like "light wheels" it had a lot of usefull information on sizing weight and offset. Good Luck

Please tell me you aren't converting the rear ...

we've lost enough talons as it is

i dont know why so many people do it, i mean the talon rear looks the best IMO :talon:

Black housing Halo Headlights :thumb: 180ish 200$ ebay

I think the seller I used on ebay was" performance lab" Let me know if you need more fno

ya.. the eclipse's rear end is better.. LOL.. but ya.. i kno hp makes rims that look exactly like that.. i think they're callled s2000.. or something like that..

id go with 18s all around .. dont stagger if you are awd it will tear up your drivetrain with two different sized wheels between the front and the rear.

If its fwd .. stagger away if you want.

ok 17x 7 with 40mm offset or18x7.5 with 45mm offset or 19x8 with 38mm offset those are my choices for the rim i want. which makes the most sense, which will look better and which work better? what are your thoughts?

it is fwd btw

Dont do the 17's theyre too small... Now the 18's or 19's depends on whether or not this is a daily driver. If it's a show car then 19's look sick! If you're going to drive it alot you might want 18's for a more comfortable ride. It also depends on how low you're going to make it, and whether or not you're using coilovers or airbags.

I have a 2" drop using tokiko illumina's and some goldline springs,I wouldn't say that it would be a daily driver but it will certainly not be a trailer queen. It will see street duty about 3 times a week weather permitting, and also be used for shows, just six months out of the year. april through october.

Any idea what tire size you plan to use?

There is a pair of 19" Axis Se7en's on ebay from time to time for $600 shipped w/ rubber. It's a hell of a deal and they look great on our cars.

That's what it would look like on the car you're modeling yours after.

i am open to suggestions

The only reason I asked is, if you are entertaining any thoughts of really wide tires, 225/40/18 is about the widest you will get on the 18 inch wheel you mentioned.

Aftermarket wings are played. The GS-T wings keep the lines of the car and don't make it look like your tryin to be cool.

Or maybe some like the look of that wing and he wants it not because he wants to look cool or trying to be cool, but because he actually truly likes the styling of it.

If it's the same wing I've seen in on eBay a lot. Just search there and it should come up.
