Is it possible to stilll have the factory bov make that boost release sound? It's like a whooshing sound. If so what do I need to do in order to get the factory bov to do that?

there are multiple ways you can increase the sound of your BOV.

One is to get a metal intake and upper intercooler pipe. The metal intake i'm using made the BOV sound louder.

Another option is to get an aftermarket BOV, such as the Type-S or the SSQV.

And yet another option is to vent your BOV, which means when BOV releases excess pressure it dumps that pressure into the atmosphere instead of back into the intake. To do this properly however you have to run an air metering setup which will not assume that extra air is going to be put back into the intake like our stock air sensors.
