New car maintenance and cosmetics

Hey guys I finally am getting my first car and it's a DSM just put the downpayment on it and all that good stuff. 1998 Eagle Talon TSi AWD.

In one of the pictures I noticed that on the passenger side, front bumper the reflector is missing.

How much will it cost to replace it? Where should I go for it, and what kind of work am I looking at doing it myself?

Second and final question, I want to get it checked out bumper to bumper and get any issues it may have taken care of asap. Can anyone recommend a mechanic they've had any luck with in/near Brunswick, GA? Major cities near me include Savannah, GA and Jacksonville, FL.

The car should be here the weekend of September 2nd. Trying to get an idea of expenses.

$20.00 most other then that looks good. I would just go to the junk yard and do the Five finger discount.

Just get a set of clear ones on ebay for cheap. Welcome to the 98 tsi awd club.

just buy a set of clear ones (autozone, pep boys...lots of places to buy). Then just plug it in and it just pops into place in the bumper.....easy. $15-20 for a set of clear corners.

They propbably lost it when they took the nose off to respray it.

Junk yard or a user that is parting out a car is an option. You can go clear too, it's up to you.

First thing you do is replace ALL fluids. I don't care how meticulous the previous owner claims to be.

A performance shop can look it over if you want. A general mechanic will give you a rough idea. See if there is a DSM shop in your area, they will be your best bet.

Yeah I noticed the color mismatch too, was thinking it may have just been the pictures. Ran the carfax and it came back completely clean, and there's no visible damage to it.

I'll just go with some clear ones I guess, what would the best way be to find DSM shops in my area? My city is fairly spread out and I don't want to waste my dad's gas (or drive his car at all it annoys me) and haven't seen anything that stands out in the phone book.

Yeah, just get them from Ebay. I got the clear ones from seller name Makotoautotrends, they have a bunch on there-fast shipping, perfect fit, very cheap. What more could you ask for?
