"A bulb of a different color"

I was puttering around on nopi, looking at the light bulb selection and i found my self in need of some answers. As most might know i want to convert all my lights to some intense amber "racing" lights. APC makes thier "Icy Hot Gold" Bulbs, and PIAA makes there "Ion Crystal" Bulbs the only problem is PIAA only makes them in the H3 format, while all formats are supported by APC, does anyone know how the APC ones compare to the PIAA bulbs? Or, does anyone know if there are PIAA Ion Crystal bulbs in other formats? Thanks for the help in advace.

Ive changed my headlights to yellow. Im using Matrix yellow, their diffrent and bright as asfasdf. Espeacialy with the brights on, i also have clear side makers which i also got matrix yellow. The only crape thing is that i have those amber bulbs in the blikers, you can realy tell the diffrence, get lots of looks, no harrasment from cops either, though only had them for a weak....

I put APC hyperwhites in my reverse lights. They look nice when on, but I got them b/c the stockers weren't lighting enough behind me. These don't do any better to provide light for backing up. I will probably try and get some piaa or razo 1156's. The apc bulbs aren't that great. I had some headlight bulbs and they went out after about 1-2 months. And they weren't bright at all. If you want something bright, try one of those "jdm" brands like razo, raybrig, etc. Catz are really nice too if they still make those kinda bulbs. I had them back in the day.
Sorry to say it, but stay away from APC. I have never seen anything quality from them.

oh wait, those matrix? are they called "show bulbs" cause they are in other colors? like green and purple? those yellows are still crazy bright and road worthy right?

hmm... im a bit frantic hear... damn i saw they run 100watts thats intense... no pun intended, but i know your down on apc and i dig that but thier projector on nopi is pretty cool imo. has any one had any experience with that? what bulbs/sockets does it use? and it has a clear cover over the projectors right? not just set in? thanks

YES!!!!!
They are the show off bulbs by matrix, 100 wat lows, and highs. Have that HID look. I tilted my lights down a bit so i didn't piss on coming traffic off, hehehe... I think they look street worthy. Mr Piggy might say diffrent though, i've passed a coule though, they havn't done nothing (yet). Otherwise if i recal Subaru had a wagon in the early 80's that had yellow driving lights too, not as yellow as mine, though they wore yellow. I recommend them the Matrix yellows, you can get through SUmmit, or Bumper to Bumper, if you have one, thats where i got mine.
On projetors theres another post all on that, about which gen projectors to get, style, chrome carbon, etc.... Along with how to make Angel Eyes for them too... Worth checking out...

yeah where might i find such a post... ha ha i know how to make angel eyes... anyway do your yelows match amber fogs? also what aout the runing lights?
