I have been thinking about getting the Stillen front end. It isnt outrageous but gives the car a different look. I want to see pics of it, because I see some pics where it doesnt look good and ones where it does. So please post any pics you have or can find. Also do you think I should get new rear and sides or stay with the stock peices if I do get the front. Let me know thanks.

:dsm: Glad you like to do it with a different style Brian. It is always fun to be creative. My suggestions are this:

1) Get the stillen front end and match it with the plainest looking sides and rear you can find that looks lower, but somewhat close to stock. This way the emphasis will be on the front end of the car, but the sides and rear will be lower to match the front. This will look like a body kit, but not be overdone with too many scoops/vents/cut lines etc. If you do it really nice it could look close to stock except for the different front end. A lot of people are trying to get a different look, but while still retaining a good amount of stock look.

2) Get the Stillen Front end and get nice sides that you like, but no rear end. With this set-up you definitely should have 18 inch wheels (IMO).

The cleaner the look while still looking unique is the key. Anybody can get a body kit, but if you can finesse it where it looks like a bodykit, but maybe not...... . This will give like a limited edition car look that cannot be copied, but still clean and original. Good luck with the project.

Yea I got the 18's already. I think the stock 97 sides and rear which I have now go pretty good but I will look around and see what I can find.

Stillen is too expensive. Don't break the bank for something that has no performance signifigance. Shop around and save some money.

well I was lucky, I got mine for free. not a stillen but a Sensei. someone hit my car, and their insurance paid for it. I ordered it like 30 mins ago, works out cheaper to buy from a local rice shop instead of the internet, since they get discounts.

Check out my gallery. I think it looks pretty clean with the 97-99 GST sideskirts/rear bumper. The stillen bumper if barely lower than the 97-99 gs sideskirts, too, so it doesn't have that snow plow look if you don't buy a full kit.

Yea that is hot, I love how the stillen front end just blends in with the stock sides and rear. If I did get aftermarket sides and rear what would you all suggest.

That's what the stillen is for...to BLEND with the stock lines, hence the reason I got one on my old car.

And the reason I'm going to buy one if I can ever fix this damn boost leak.
