i have enkei rs5 18" that I am putting on my car tomorrow. I rec'd some special lugs with my tire/rim package, and i was wondering how much to torque them??? also, do i need to do anything else when putting these on.......

Thanks!!

andthen drive around the block and tighten again... then to the store and back anf tighten again... then to work and back and tighten again... then next weekend and tighten again...

Then dont worry about it for a while.

new aluminum rims are suggested to be torqed...

day one. (install)
50 miles
3 days
7 days
30 days
45 days

after the last one, the aluminum should be settled.

I was told by Goodyear to torque them 85 ft-lbs. Since they are new, make sure you check them every couple of days.

thats funny because this guy from pepboyz told me 100 not 85. Its probably 85 those pep guyz don't know anythging. 85 sounds right go with him.

:dsm:

My Chilton's specs like 95-101, IIRC. I go to an even 100.

Get a good torque wrench you will need it for more than this if you stay with it long enough.
