Alright so I just bought my Talon like a week ago and I would like to keep it safe when I start going back to school. But, I only realized yesterday that the car only had power windows and not locks  I had no idea they came with one but not the other, so I just kind of assumed :| . I have seen a bunch of kits to install power locks on various cars so Im guessing they make them for this car? If I bought an alarm now would it be pointless until I got the kit? How much would these kits cost? At the junkyard close to here there are 4 first gen DSMs, but even if they had the power lock setup I would need to take the door panels too right? I have also heard some shops will add power locks too? Is it a total rip off for them to do it, or for all the time I would be putting into it would it just be better to have the shop do it? Thanks-

so if you are in your car, and flip the lock on your side, the lock on the other side doesnt move? My guess would be there is something wrong with your power locks. Junkyard or trader will work good for replacements.

Well...I know this sounds really stupid, but I dont know if I have have power locks or not? Could they be power locks and just be broken? Did these cars come with manual locks and power windows?

Check your fuses first. There is one for your locks, may be blown. Good luck.
