so i am lookin into eliminating the popup thing completely and take every thing out except the top cover

i wanna weld the headlight housing top cover to the hood and take out the lense that is there and replace it all with a setup like this

I dont see why it cant be done, I have seen them done on 240's before.

well ok but then the damn end of the hood wont matchup to the fenders and i would have hella gap above the headlight so i think i am gonna go with my original idea here just wonderin what people would think it would look like
