Alright i own a 94 eclipse and i've been lookin for some carbon fiber hoods. The only ones i could find were the oem one and the invader. Does anyone else know of any more? and where to get them?

And to be honest, the invader is the best looking aftermarket hood for the 1G. There really is not all that much that looks good on it that is out there.

Drifter and another not as radical as the drifter front ends... no rears look good IMO same with side skirts... forget wings other than stock... and then stock and invader hood.

thats why any body mods im gonna do are gonna be oem cf...although i may switch from my normal gs wing to the turbo wrap around.

Which wrap around spoiler are you talking about?

90-91 Eclipse and talon have the same wings no matter what model
92-94 Eclipse all models have the same wing

There is no such thing as turbo wing for 1gs, as the turbos and non turbos share them

well i have a drift bodykit, z3 fenders and a wing on the back, i kno not many people like wings but the rear needed somethign and my friend gave me one so i cant say no to free. now right now im having an overheating problem due to not enough colder air flowing through the engine/ engine bay. Now how can i not with the huge ass front opening on the drift front? Well the guy that installed and molded my kit, molded over the two holes on the side, so he could reinstall some fog lights and....now i overheating issues :notgood: . SO i was hoping if i get a cf hood with some kind of vent like the evo hood and invader it would help let more heat out and away from my engine. im also drillin holes in the newly mold over holes to help get air circulating back through. do you guys think this will be sufficant?

well maybe they werent turbo specific but my gs has a one-piece wing that jsyut goes across the hatch lid...im talking the three-piece wrap around wing that was one the 1g, mostly 1ga but ive seen a few on the 1gb's

your car has another problem causing it to overheat, not the body kit.

You mean it is one single peice and no little winglets on the sides of the lid? If so, then you have one of those unique style ones. The 1ga spoiler is 5 peices, the center, two sides, and the 2 peices that run along the bottom of the window up to the mirrors. The eclipse 1gb is some what the same, but doesnt have the door peices.

definately the truth, although a body kit might add a little extra weight there's no way a body kit would cause you to overheat, although that might be a good thing when you have a body kit on a 1g
:D

What are the symptoms of the overheating problem?

im not blaming the bkit im bl;maing not enough air going to engine because of what the guy did to the bkit. the ca ronly overheats on real hot days, or when i dawg it. i changed the coolent and what not, checked its levels, checked my oil everything is fine. I quickly fix the heating prob by turning on my heat but driving when its 80-90 degrees out with the heat on really sucks :notgood:

go to the main page of tuners where the feature car is, does it look like the one on that blue laser?

yea except its more flush mounted, there's no space (well barely any, none that you can see) between the decklid and the spoiler.
