im about to paint my stock 1g wheels today and there is some corrosion looking stuff on the lip, has any one else had this? how do i get it off?
 
I would assume just sanding it down with some rough grit sandpaper would work, or a dremel or something like that? Then put some rustproof base down and paint like normal?
