hey everyone...i know this question has kinda been answered...i read a couple of topics that had automatic shift knob questions...one said just to use a manual shift knob and relocate the o/d button...well heres my question...ive seen a couple on ebay that they go with automatic and manual trannys...they look exactly like a manual shiftknob...and the way you shift is simple...just push down on the whole knob and then shift...pushing down the knob activates the button you have to push to shift...do any of you know if you can take a manual shift knob..lets say one that lights up and stuff...and place that on a automatic transmission and do the same thing to shift? I really want one with lights...dont ask me why...i just like stuff that lights up...but all the ones i find are for manual trannnys...thanx for your help everyone!

im looking for blue lights...but i dont want the normal looking stock shifter...i want an aftermarket one..could you describe the one that you have laying around?

it's a factory one... I havent found any good ones for the A/T, and the manual knob stand in bothers me because there's no way to attach it, it just sits atop the lever(looks kinda dumb IMO unless you wanna go with a shift boot..., and I drive using the shift lever as a handrest(because my talon is the only A/T I drive other than my gfs car) and if it's not solid it makes me uneasy... Razo used to make a shifter for A/T WITH and OD button..but it looks nearly identical to what you got.... I'm changing to a manual in my talon once I get some extra money though..i HATE AUTO.

im tryen the same thing, i havent seen any pics of someone with a auto tranny but has a manual look, i hate the auto stick and am looken for somethen to replace it with...
