Best way to prep seats is to steam clean them. You can find full replacement carpet on ebay for about 100 bucks. wings are expensive because people pay that much for them. If people stopped buying wings, then the price would go down. :D Sorry, havn't taken the steering wheel off mine yet so not sure on that one.

i went on ebay, but im not sure how much carpet i need, i dont wanna spend 100 bucks and not be able to carpet my entire car ROFL

The stuff is premolded meaning you pull your seats out and pop the carpet in. You shouldn't need to buy just regular carpet :thumb:

heh, lets just say (hypothetically) i dont have one of these "steam cleaners" you speak of, what then ROFL

I was wondering what people did for the carpet panels on the sides of the center console. i think that thier are 4 or 5 different small panels. is that ebay carpet have it or do you have to put it on yourself. Thanks

I'm not sure about the carpet but i used Shout and a shopvac with a brush end from my house vac to clean my seats it was a slow process (spraying and cleaning) but it worked well also for your headliner check you nearest fabric store to see if they have headliner fabric i redid my buddies headliner in his 1st gen and it cost him like $10 for the fabric and we picked up a few cans of spray adhesive and recovered his headliner he has pics in his profile if you would like to see his screen name is 1GenDSM but here is a link as well

You can rent steam cleaners from just about any hardware store or carpet place for way cheap.

If you don't want to spend $100 on replacement carpet, start calling around to different salvage yards, a friend of mine got extremely clean carpet out of a wrecked eclipse for roughly $40

Good Luck :thumb:

you think sprayen the headliner with some duplicolor fabric stuff would make it look better, (if you wanted to change the color i mean, to oh i dont know, lets say..black?)

I just put in a new headliner. it wasn't that bad. I bought 44" by 59" or something like that. It was velvateen. in black. The stuff looks pretty nice i just have to put my visors back on. The material was only $4 though. Since i have already sprayed most of my car with the duplicolor and seen how well it works. I am still glad i just bought a new material. My old headliner was also sagging though.
