Has anyone bought rims or ect from www.WheelsNext.com ?
They have good deals and rims and i was wondering if its to good to be true. Also how was the service, product quality ect.

Wheels next is like the news paper to me. I look at it everday but never come away with anything good. I'm a addicted to looking at their detailed pictures and excellent selection, oh someday i'll taste their glory. someday.

I ordered from them before and they tried to screw me over. I ordered a set of Excel 7m's and tires. I also purchased the $50 warranty. The person I talked to when ordering the wheels said it would cover any damage on my rims if I hit a curb or anything like that. So the rims arrived and I was away when they came. I got home about 4 days later and brought the rims over to my garage so I could put the car on the lift and see how hey looked. One of the rims had a dent in the lip coming from the inside out, anyone who knows anything about wheels could easily tell it was done when the tire was mounted. I called them up and they said to take pictures and send them in, so I did. Then I got a phone call saying that I only had 2 days to report any damage or errors on the wheels. I explained how you could easily tell it was from mounting and that I had been away and that the weels still had the plastic wrap around them. I only cut the front open to look at the rim. They said none of this mattered, so I brought up the warranty that I bought. The manager said that it only covered severly bent (as in no longer circle) or cracked rims. This is really hard to do and I considered putting the wheel on a car a hitting curbs repetitively until I cracked or broke it, but I didn't want to damage the tire or any car. I told the manager I was going to this and he still refused to replace the rim. The best he offeded was $25 on my next purchase. I ended up refuting the charges on my credit card and just sending the rims back and I never head from them again. Later I instead bought Hp racing evo's in hyper silver and I'm much happier with the rim. Sorry about the long post just trying to explain the situation.

did you buy the Hp racing evo's in hyper silver from them too? or a different company? If you bought them from wheels next was everything cool with them? no problems?

Actually I'm really stupid, I ordered from Wheelmax.com the first time and they are the ones that gave me the problems. I ordered my Hp racing evo's from WheelsNext and everything went fine. Sorry for the mix up.

I would have taken the tire off and slammed the wheel against a curb real hard. Then stick the tire back on best you could without damaging it, send them the pics and say "oh no i bent the wheel"

That sucks, sorry to hear that story.

my rims just arrived from wheels next and they are nice, no damage, excellent packaging and they were real friendly to deal with. i hope to do mor ebissness like this in the future :thumb:

i called them this week. Because i posted in this thread and then i saw their add again but took a closer look. they actually give a military discount. Good for me :thumb: it's not much but they don't charge for the mounting and balancing of the wheel. i guess they charge a little for that. i just gotta stop being a scrooge and fork over some dough for some wheels. :talon:
