how do you stay shinny ?

Looking for something to take care of new paint and keep her shinny. I started using this eagle one wash/detailer and a microfiber towel for between washes. I think it works ok but wondering if there are other good products out there you guys use for that shine.

I use Zaino and it holds up very well against the hot Cali sun. Only drawback is it's mail order and it is kinda expensive. You need at least 3 bottles of different waxes but when it's done in layers, the shine is unmatched. Some vette guys put 10-15 coats of wax on a weekend, but I did only 4 at most.

I use Meguiars NXT wax and spray. Applies well BUT it does not last long as Zaino Bros.

I also use this purple wax that I get from the L.A./OC Carshow that's called Z-Wax. It's $10 a bottle and it lasts long even when sprinkled on. I use any touch-up spray with it and it lasts a few months.

Use claybar first then wax. It should make the car shine more and feel smooth to the touch.

i've noticed alot of vette guys seem to be more interested in cleaning their cars then actually driving them. subsequently, they are the most informed on cleaning products.

C5chris is right on with the Zaino products. I however have tried everything and I started using Meguiars Professional Line off of their site. There Yellow Syn Wax is amazing also get there Show Car Glaze to put on before the wax. A california duster is also key to make sure dust is always off of the car incase of rain etc. Then I use Meguiars Quik Detailer incase a bird decides to leave me a suprise on the car!

i used to wash my car every other day, but thats when i lived in texas going up a dirt road to my house. it looked pretty shiny most of the time. i never used any wax or any products to shine up my car though. it still looked pretty good though.
