Now what?

Ok, so today i re-ended somebody , all my fault, just me assuming to many things about what the other car would do. But anyway, my passenger side front bumper is pretty scratched up. What would you attempt to fix this. Nothing is to the primer, but definetly the clear coat in some spots is gone. Also, the very tip of my hood got chipped up, just to big pieces, like the paint just got "cut" offf the hood. Any help on this, its not to bad from a distance, but definatly needs to be fixed, since the rest of my car is mont condition.

im confused as to what you are asking....obviously buy used parts from trader or the classifieds to repaint any really damaged parts. Then paint it to match the rest of the car...

sorry, i'm asking if it would be worth buying all new stuff, or just stripping, bending back some pieces that are damaged? The front bumper will need repainting, along with the hood, pop-up, center logo piece. I mean trying to find 1ga silver body parts, or just painting everything.

you can get the parts pretty cheap via ebay, dsmtrader, and the tuner classifieds. alot of people are parting out their cars. Just to give you an idea I sold a hood for 40, pop up assembly for 15 and a center peice for 10. so your not looking at a crazy amount of money or anything. Look around on the places i listed, im sure you will be able to replace the parts pretty cheap. then just paint it all when your done, unlessyou get realy lucky and get the same color parts

if you can get some pics and that will help us determine what the damage is. if we can see it all itll be easier to determine what can be fixed and what needs to be replaced

yeah, see, my next paycheck is either going toward new intercooler pipes, or a digi. camera. I got the whole bumper fixed, took out the buffer and some polishing compound, looks brand new now. I'm still trying to find how the clear lens got pushed back, something moved, just don't know what. And the hood got turned downward in the front(between the pop-ups, so on the sides in the middle, it is raised up at little. So after all, i won't need new paint, i can live with this paint. Now my only question is how hard is it to "roll" a hood, to straighten it out?

is it dented (have an actual crease in it). If so it wont be as easy, but if it is just pushed down with no actual crease, heres a cheap fast way to fix it.
open your hood, get a block of wood and set it on the side where the hood is messed up, then close the hood SOFTLY until its against the block. then push on the hood with your weight to bend it back up. might take a bit of pushing. i have in the past slammed the hood on a block but that was a pretty beat car and i dont recomend doing anything that may do more damage like broken hinges.

Thanks, that was exactly what i was looking for, there is no crease. its just bent down. I'm still searching to where my clear lense got pushed back, everything looks right, just that when install it, it goes about a 1/2 in back .
