Like the white on white :thumb:

your post had nothing to do with handling. this should be in the apperance section

My initial reaction was similar to Mach1One's, such that I almost posted: Two words: Wrong forum. Then I remembered that very few people know about the huge advantages of painting your wheels white.

You know how hot your black dashboard gets on a sunny day? That's because black things absorb more sunlight than lighter-colored things. Well, wheels are the same. The darker they are, the more sunlight they absorb, so the hotter they get. And this is bad. Not only do hot wheels heat up the air inside the tires more, causing a pressure rise that can adversely affect handling (assuming that you had the pressures set correctly before), but hot wheels also transfer some their heat to the rotors, increasing your stopping distances.

In fact, several insurance companies will give you a discount of up to 10% for painting your wheels white. Too bad you missed the April 1st deadline.

ps. hmmm, April first; why would they choose that particular date???

well in reply to mach1 and such, here is a note on the handling. i upgraded from 205/55/r16s to 215/45/17 on performance tires. i just did my first launch with the new rubbers/rims and the difference is increadible. handling around corners is much better than stock. these tires in my opinion are very comparable to my last set of khumo supra 712s.

happy :p
