i was planning on putting a 1g sunroof on a 2g, i did not want to mess with the electonic crap in the 2g sunroof. i found a sunroof already does the 1g have one of those ceiling covers also???
anything else i will need??
thanks

i assume by ceiling cover you mean the peice that hides the sunroof from the inside. if thats what you mean, the answer is yet, but it was a removable peice that you store in the trunk when not in use, unlike the sliding 2g cover.

1g cover is also rare and hard to find these days

so the 1g sun roof will work on a 2g?

^^^Correct. You were asked a question which you didn't answer, and insist on breaking the rule about bumping.

I suggest a QUICK end to it.

sorry my pc was acting up on me i could not log back on until today i did not realize that when my pc froze up it was resending the message."i don't understand how there is a 10 min break in time between the repeated message though?" WTF
no my 2g did not come with a sunroof.
again my apologies for the bump.

obviously if you don't have a sunroof now you will need to have one custom installed. Basically that means you can install any sunroof you want onto your car, you just have to have the right size hole cut for it as well as use all the hardware that goes with that particular sunroof. for example if you use a 1g sunroof you will need to use the 1g hinge assembly and 1g latch assembly to make the 1g sunroof work to work on your car .

So to answer your question, yes you would be able to have a 1g sunroof installed on your car. Although I would recomend having a shop do it that knows what they are doing

thank you. ;)
