2G interior into a 1G

Is it possible to "swap" the interiors? I really hate the 1G interiors and i have some friends that do custom interior work. What do you all think? Thanks.

Never seen it done. Not sure how possible that would work. But im sure with enough money anything is possible.


Were you talking bout changing everything as far as the dash is concerned? i would expect that the instrument panel and gauge cluster would not be interchangable.

Maybe if you tried using the 1g instruments and controls in sort of a 2g layout. Not sure bout the center console and all.

The 2g cars are wider than the 1g cars, I dont know if that means the dash is wider too. Also, there seems to be more distance between the front of the dash and the windshield, so it might not fit well in a 1g. Also, the 2g dast "flows" into the door panels (with air ducts and crap) so you would have to change those too.

Overall, I don't think its possible.

Oh it's possible. I've seen some disturbing things come together. If you have the cash, and the people that can make some serious custom work happen, then it can happen!!
