Blue ions?

Ive searched on here about them and Ive read that some look blue, some look yellow, and some u just put a blue bulb in and th light gets blue'r, and Ive read that putting in a blue bulb will make it yellow'r. So what will they be?

I dont know much about headlights, but when i had my PIAA's, the glass was blue but they lit up bright white.

I have blue ion projectors, I believe the are the color of the bulb light with a tint of blue to it. They come with regular halogen bulbs (which produce yellow light) therefor making a yellowish blueish beam. I bought some Nokya high and low, artic white (whitish blue) high power bulbs for them, yet I have not yet had a change to put them in yet, since my car's in the shop getting the drivetrain replaced with all performance parts, and a new venture gear transmission, but I'll post the results once I put them in, because I know a lot of people are wondering this, including me.

i have the nokya artic white bulbs. the light they give out looks white but far away my lights look blueish, when its dark out and my lights are on everything thats lit up is a little blueish but i like them

Are you talking bout like plasma lights?? Plasma replacement bulbs come out with a blue type effect. Just because a bulb has blue tint on it doesnt mean that he light will shine blue. I believe that halogen bulbs with a hint of blue tint will give the effect of a bright white, something like an HID effect, i could be wrong tho.

If you are looking for a blue effect light try out a plasma blue, or see if someone uses plasma blue lights for you to see how it looks.

hmm i think on eshoudl think amber when they think ion... i know that PIAA makes the Ion Crystal bulbs that have a intenes amber light... blue ion is an ond thing...
