I might be able to get a set of 5Zigen seats (non reclinable, "Beckett" I think) for a good price to replace my aging front seats.
Does anyone have these? Are they decent quality? Will I fit into them (6'2" 205lbs.)?

I never really took the company that seriously but if these are OK I may go ahead with them.

Thanks for any knowledgeable responses.

I have only seen the reclineable ones, but the quality seemed to be just as good as sparco, corbeau, etc. I went with the corbeau cr1's, and I love them. I would check into it closer and maybe try and sit in the seats sometime if they are non-adjustable. Make sure they aren't going to kill your back.

I don't recommend them. I have seen then in alot of cars, and they fade...ALOT. Try looking for another brand or get Corbeau.

How big is your waist, because most racing seats fit people from 34-36 for a snug fit.

I'm a 34-36, so I guess that would work. I really need to find some and see about the seating position before I send money, even if they're cheap.
Thanks guys

I have Tenzo R's and yes they are comfortable, but they do tend to fade and they suck to keep clean. I'm in the process of getting rid of mine and just getting leather front seats.

I got them from a performance place that went out of business. I only paid 200 for both seats without brackets.

Shoot, does anyone else out there have hook up for the Tenzo R Rally seats. Thanks. Jake

I know alot of people adapt their stock sliders onto the race seats. The ones that would come w/ the seats would be universal & you'd have to make them fit anyways.

How difficult would it be to adapt the stock brackets/sliders to the race seats? Thanks. Jake

Dont know about a 1G, but i ruined my stock passenger seat trying to do it.

Ouch. Well shoot, cause I really want to buy some race seats but I'm not too great at doing installation type things. I mean it took me like 4 hours to do my stereo, sub, amp, wiring, etc. Any ideas? Thanks. Jake

The seat installation is only a few nuts and bolts, its actually pretty easy. My brackets needed a little hacking on them but it was nothing out of control wise.

I found some Tenzo R Rally seats for $440 a pair shipped in the U.S. on GroupBuy.com. And I was wodering if I could just order them without brackets and sliders and use stock ones or if I had to buy the universal ones? Because they do not make them to fit a 1G exclusively. Thanks. Jake
