I like black black and very dark wheels only on dark colored cars, or silver, but not White.

A slightly lighter shade of grey (than the chop, maybe 1/2 way tween silver and dark grey) would look spectacular i think.

The black would look great on your car. I don't like the idea of a polished lip on those rims though.... But, the my opinion. Some rims look good with a polished lip, but not those. Have a great day. Nice 1ga

Just personal preference, but you might want to see how they look in superwhite, rather than the silver. What I'm going for on mine.. even if they are a pain to keep clean. :b

I've always been a fan of darker wheels - "graphite" and "gunmetal" on most lighter-colored cars, and on most darker-colored cars, black - matte or gloss.

I still remember playing Gran Turismo - the first one - and having all my friends make fun of me because I had black wheels on all my cars.

Highlighted rim or not, doesn't matter much to me.

Both my 1Gb (silver) GS DOHC and my 2Ga (white) TSi ride on "gunmetal" wheels with highlighted rims. That's just my personal preference. In the Galleries, my favorite blue, green, and black DSMs all have black wheels or at least darker ones.

And I think this is totally an issue of personal preference. If -YOU- like it, just go for it.



It's what matters to YOU that counts in the end. Your friends can all tell you that your car looks sick - but if you actually get sick looking at your car first thing in the morning, well, that's not good, is it?

That said, if you're fashion conscious, remember that now a days, everyone and his cousin like to ride on lightweight, "race-inspired" graphite, gunmetal, or black wheels. It apparently is the "in" thing.

If you want to be a member of this popular group (and there's nothing wrong with that!), by all means, go with the darker wheels with or without a polished lip.

But if you want to break-out, you might look to go "retro" with chrome or try out gold/bronze or even brighter, fluorescent colored wheels.

Go with a shiny deep black. Lotsa gloss for depth.
