Dash Idea

I have the normal peeling dash, on my 1Gb I was thinking of taking all the foam crap off and replacing it with Diamond plate vinyl (it has the texture and feel of diamond plate pattern but is flexible.) It would be painted black! Any PS things would be nice to! ANY INPUT??

im thinking you may get annoyed by it, i predict nasty glare and distracting highlights.

if you paint it gloss black it will be shiny and reflect light. if you dont use gloss, shouldnt have as much of a problem if any
