need help rigging new 15" LEDs!

I went out and bought two 15" led tubes for the footboards of my 98 eclipse, and I'm completely new to electrical stuff!! I know the basics, but my dad knows a whole lot more (but hes out of state right now). Does anyone know how I can tap into the guage dimming switch and use that switch to control the LEDs as well as the guages? Or, the other option would be do help me find the wire for the headlights

If you wired them to your headlights you would have to run a wire thru the firewall to get to the front of the car. you could wire it to your fuse box or the dimmer siwtch. I belive if you can get your head under the dash you'll see the two wires for the dimmer. Just grab a test light to find out which one is the hot wire.
