I looked to see if there was any posts about this and there wasn't so Im just gonna post it. about 1 year ago I had my friend rewire my fuel pump, well the dumb shit obviusly didn't know what he was doing because he ran a power straight from the battery which is right and had a good ground, the thing he did wrong is he sliced into my fuel light wire instead of my old power wire which was the reason my fuel light would stay lit partual way(not fully lit) all the time no matter if I was full or not, well when I reattached the fuel light and rewired the fuel pump correctly the gas light turned off but now it wont turn on when Im low on gas. I checked the cluster lights and they work and I also used a 9v battery to see if I could illuminate the light from the harness and it worked, I dont know if my sencors in the tank are out or what, an dont know how to test them or take them out??? Is there any way to test it besides running it as low as possible because I tried that??? I have a 95 Mitsu GSX Eclipse. Please let me know if theres things I can do to fix the problem???
