JL Stealthbox driver options

I just scored a used JL Audio Stealthbox off eBay but it didn't include the sub itself. I think they originally came with 10W0 drivers, but are there others that will fit and work well with the enclosure volume of this box? I was thinking a 10W3 maybe.

What IS the enclosure volume on this thing anyway? I checked the JL web site, but they don't even have the Eclipse box listed any more.

are you the jerk who picked that thing up for, like, $55!?! I was gonna bid $100 on it, but I was playing diablo and missed the end of the auction litterally by 2 minutes! Congrats man! WTF!? I've been watching eBay of and on looking for a stealthbox. One finally shows up and I missed it!!! haha

I'd probably just stick another JL sub back in there since that's what the enclosure was made to work well with. But, if you don't know the volume of the box and want to try another sub, you could always look up the specs for the JL sub that orignally came in the stealthbox. Find out what they recomended for a sealed enclosure and that will probably give you a pretty good idea of the size of the stealthbox.

Yeah, that was me-- sorry, man. If it makes you feel any better, that was nowhere near my max bid that I had entered. I'm going to have to have it recarpeted, though, since my interior is tan. I'm afraid I'll be keeping it-- I've been looking on eBay for like a year myself for one. Just set up an automatic search that e-mails you whenever there's a match.

I e-mailed JL to see if they can send me the install instructions since they don't have them on their web site any more. I'm pretty sure the original driver was a 10W0, which has the same enclosure size requirements as a 10W3. I'm bidding on a couple of those on eBay right now. I'd love to use a 10W6 V2, but I don't think I can afford it right now.

use a JL Audio 10WO6 .... perfect for the custom enclosure u purchased, it uses a 4 ohm voicecoil and rated at 400watts rms
