Hey, I got alot of bad body work on my Talon. I was looking around at cars to switch out full bodies. And so I came across this Laser. I dont know what year it is but its 90-94 since that was the only time they were made. Its a great condition laser. I was wondering if anyone knows for a fact that the laser body will fit on my Talon frame. I figure I have to do some welding somewhere but I think for the most part itll work. It'd be nice to an AWD Turbo laser all pimped out... Any input would be nice...

As far as I know the Talon/Eclipse/Laser have the same frame and very similar bodies. In fact, the only difference I can tell between then is they all have difference side skirts and bumpers, and they all have different back ends. I have yet to see a Laser with a spoiler =/

the bodies are basically the same on all models, the frames should be the same, maybe a little different from the awd turbo to the fwd n/t b/c of the suspension mounting points and things. i believe that the awd have a different hatch space too, but i'm not positive. and by that i mean they have an extra hump in the back.

The whole back section of the 1st gen AWD is different. I've got a 90 laser RS-T, in which I'm converting to look like a talon (bumpers, sideskirts, taillights, and maybe stock spoiler), and I had the thought of making my FWD, an AWD, but the whole backend is totally different. The back bumper, and taillights will bolt up, but no rearend or indepent suspension like the AWDs have. Good luck with your swap. Hopefully it's a clean AWD Laser, then the switch will be perfect. :thumb:
