Medicine Hat,
okay i really want to get a set of projectors but iv heard so many horror stories about them. I want a set that doesnt require me to rewire them as i want to keep my stock wiring as is and dont want to destroy my oem headlights (im sure some1 will want them =p) also i have to be able to adjust them. I really dont care if they light the road up well. also i want ones that have the halo.

so if anybody knows of a brand or website that sells projectors that are:
1.adjustable
2.doesnt require the plugs from my oem's
3.black housing
4.halo (dont care if it burns out i plan on replacing it soon anyway)

I know alot of you have projectors so someone has to be happy with them

im buying these...Halo Projectors

people say the bulbs burn out fast, therefore i would recommend goin on ebay and finding Halo bulbs from velocityleds hes a great LED seller!! only like 20 bucks for a super bright set.

The ones I got from Matrix Racing plug into your stock wiring harness, have halos, are black, and are adjustable via 2 screws and a phillips screwdriver. I did a HID retro to them, but they meet all your criteria I believe.

I have the same ones, but bought them from eBay. In heavy rain, I noticed a very small ammount of water got in. Whenever I'm not being lazy I'm gonna have to dry and seal them.

But, they look great IMO. Haven't had any probs..

Mine have been re-sealed by me, and I don't have any leaks there, but I still get some moisture due to the fact the the low beam caps aren't on because they don't fit over the ballast wires :shhh:

How well do those light up the road? I was also looking to buy them.

Yeah, I'm interested also. do you have any night time pics of how they light up the road?

I would also like to see the light dispersal pattern for a night time road.

I was thinking of getting a set of these for when I do a 2gb bumper conversion sometime in the summer.

What about the APC duel projectors. Anyone have any experience with them? I just bought a brand new set off EBAY for $150.00 shipped. They appear to be nice quality, and use the standard bulbs, not the H3 or H4 style.

I have the dual projectors on my car for about a year and a half now. The light output is about the same as my stock ones. I haven't had a car flash there lights at me so far, though they do seem alittle brighter than stock. And as you said they do use the same bulbs as the stock ones 9005 and 9006. Also, I didn't have to cut or modify any wires to install them.

here is a front night pic

is there a certain thing i have to type in , on ebay to find them? i like how they look on your car man

So has it been decided on which ones do not leak? I'm thinking about getting a pair also.

Mine never leaked before I did the HID conversion, and as soon as I can figure out a way to close up the low beam holes, I will be moisture-free again.

I have the ones in the first link shown, they're beautiful and i love them, my halos, well passenger side halo did burn out on me though, can anyone tell me how exactly i replace those bulbs, pm me if possible, so i don't get this thread off topic

You think you feel bad for paying $40 for SilverStar's. I have them also. But I am not going projector. I paid $134 for brand new OEM 97-99. And that was for each. In total.......It was around $278 or so with tax. That is how anal I am. I wan't my car to be perfect. Plus I just picked up my 97-99 Eclipse Bumper Cover from the body shop today.

Total cost of 97-99 Eclipse Front

$150 for Bumper Cover

$280 for OEM Headlights

$312 for Paint

Total comes too.......$742. Yeah I know. Alot of money. But I am going to sell my stock 95-96 Headlights for $100.

I could have saved alot on buying projectors. But I would rather have the OEM look. But that is me. Now I am ready for the replys on about how I should have spent that money on other things. I have money. I buy new things for my car about every other week. So some more go-fast goodies are on the way.

I was wondering if anyone has gotte then Symmic.com halo projector headlights and if they are adjustable and meet the other requirements first listed in this thread. If so please PM or post here cuase if so it'd be relative to the thread. They are about the cheapest projectors i've found so ya if they do it'd be a good deal.

Has anybody found a good place to get the black apc's? The link above is for carbon-fiber ones. To me carbon headlights and a carbon hood would be over kill.

all right i guess the matrix projectors will do just fine for me but anyone know any place i can get em for a bi*** cheaper than 250+shipping from the matrix website i tried searching google but all i get is headlights for toyota matrix's
