I would like to see how others have mounted their skirts along the door sill. I have added door caps and it is rubbing my side skirts in a couple places. I am looking for ideas on how to redo the skirt to give more clearance. The other alternative is to shim up the door.

Any ideas/help/suggestions is appreciated. I will try to get pictures of what I am talking about as well.

No help?

That's ok, saw a convertible today and asked them to see how the ground effects met the sill and mine come much farther into the door sill than the stockers. Now I need to figure out the best way to fix it.

well i dont have door caps and i filled the holes in were they were so my side skirts fit just fine. heres a pic. wow thats an old picture I need to take some new ones have the engine/trans in and interior is almost done.

mine rubs on the inside on the passenger side as well. it doesn't really bother me though.

Thanks for the help, I was really wanting some pictures up close with the door open. Basically showing how/where the skirt meets the body of the car in the door jam or whatever.

I think that mine could have been done better. The door caps are rubbing the paint off in a couple places, luckily you can't see it with the door closed. Maybe I am too picky/anal?
