Personally I rather like the look of a Supra-style spoiler, especially on a 1G DSM. That's just my opionion, but I am looking for yours as well...

Would you say this is rice? The intention here would not be to make my car look faster, rather to make it look nicer. I have not made up my mind about this yet, so please help me decide...

Do you think the stock no-spoiler look is a better, or is there another spoiler out there that would look nicer, or more non-ricey?

Here is a picture of what I would get should I decide to go down the Supra-style path...

I got sick of those wings a long time ago... you still see them around but I think they are silly looking unless they are on a Supra. The Supras without them look weird.

Personal opinion of course :)

:barf:
that is one ugly spoiler

Go with the carbon fiber gt wing.....and if you say thats rice i will :xnuts:

You have to complete the rest of the car, if you get a radical spoiler you have to get a body kit. It is like having BIG bass, but no highs.

The idea of me not getting a aftermarket wing phased on me when a 97-98 Cavalier 4 door rolled by with stock wheels, non-tinted windows, stock exhaust and a big FAT carbon fiber wing. Now was is up with that, that thing is slower than my Dakota 5 speed 4wheel drive truck. All that downforce will kill the trunk, and does nothing for the car exepct make me laugh like hell.

I hope the story made a point, get a wing after you have a image, but don't get it just for a point, make the entire first, and then add the wing. Like most DSM people, function is most important, and the rest falls behind. I wouldn't drive a 1G if I didn't like how it looked already. Don't make your car something it isn't.

My 2 cents. Have Fun!

i think the wing loks tight, but just about everyone in here hates me cause i like imports and think looks are as important as performance. its whatever you thinks cool man. your car should be an extension of yourself it should be to make others happy. PEACE!:dsm:

First and foremost, get what YOU like. IMO, though, 1G's don't take to cosmetic mods too well. If it was my car, I would look into some wheels and a lowered suspension first.

GOD NO!! those supra spoilers dont even match our cars. I think that the stock, or no spoiler looks good on the 1g's or something that I love is the drag style spoilers, i found 1 off of a 97 prelude and it fits great, it looks like a beefed up stock wing, ill post the pics sometime this week

well seeing as i live in Yakima and the ratio of hondas to any other car is about 2/1, i see about atleast 5 hondas everyday.. and out of that 5 atleast one will have a wing like that, or similar to it, in my opinion.. PLEASE DONT ;), but as i always say... "whatever floats ur boat"

Thanks for the input guys...
I think I agree with most of you. I definately will go with other performance mods, etc. first - and when it comes to cosmetics, probably a body kit... After that, I will see. Most likely I will decide to keep the no-spoiler look, or I'll get a touring-style one.

Appreciate your help!
