93tsi with 6speaker. my dash speaker works but door and rear do not. i just ran new wire to the rear but dont know if i want to take off the door panel because i started cracking it OMG . stupid fing pins hold so well in that door and then my pass. panel pops off everytime i shut the door. am i missing a screw along the trailing edge?

anyways where are the connectors that would have these wires? up by the door lock relays i noticed a couple plugs just hanging there. like 4 pin i believe. before theyd crackle and go in and out and now the door never makes a sound. speakers i would assume are just fine because the rear did the exact ssame thing.

should i follow the mass of wires comming out of the door or does it branch off somewhere or is there a connector in the door? this kindda sucks :thumbdown .

also is it bad to run an uneven load to my head unit? (drv front is 8ohms and pass frnt is 4 ohms)

i think defiant had a nice pdf link of circuits. is it in there? even tho i have a sub it feels sooo much fuller sitting on the pass side with the door speaker beating on ur legs.

thanks

someone can chime in here anytime just in case im wrong but i do believe that the door speakers are just dummy grilles as that is what mine was on my 92 talon(Stock) and for the speakers in the back as i did to mine i just disabled them as they sucked anyway. but i ran the rear spkr wires to a set of 10's in the hatch. the front spkrs will be fine if you use an EQ and a slight slant with the rear spkrs with the glass and you'll get unbelievable sound.(dont forget the power ur rears with an amp as i didnt mention).
I hope this helps.Reguards: Chuck

no chuck, that didnt help. LOL but thanks. and i do have speakers in my doors- maybe someone pulled urs out and either just used dash or maybe kickpanel? i got crappy legacy 6x9's that the previous owner replaced the blowin speakers with. and thanks for the link, defiant. i tried searching through a bunch of alarm posts like before but could not find it.
