My CF Altezzas (rice, i know) have very poor setups for the blinker lights. The blinkers are set so deep and far to the outside of the light housing that during the daylight hours following traffic can't see that IM turning off the road. 4 near misses in the last couple of months alerted me to this.

I would like to know if there is a way to tap the blinker lights into the brake lights so all the lights will signal when im turning?

Nice clean car! You should paint that center part of the tail-lights.

As for the lights, yes you can modify them. I'm not very familiar with 1g tail-light setups, but when I put my altezzas on, only two of the three red circles would light up with regular parking lights. I wanted all three on, so I modified it so that all three are on with lights, then the outside ones are turn signals as well, and the middle two are brake lights.

On the back of the bulbs, there are 3 input wires...one is for regular running, and the other is for the brighter filiment. If you just connect the bright filiment of the turn signal to the bright filiment on the brake light and it should work. Just keep the passenger side and the driver side seperate.

Thanks Matt,

I'll take my test light out and find the proper wires to tap. IM just worried about tapping into the brake lights with the blinker and then having one of them not work right.

About the center section, I do plan on having it painted to match the car but not till the car goes in for a full paint job.
