hello,
hey guys i was just curious to get your opinions on the safety of using light-weight rims for my daily driver. i have a black 98 TSI :talon: and i'm looking into getting a set of the satin black with polished lip Rota Sub-Zeros for my car. i know they are a lighter wheel and i was just curious if it was a bad idea to use them for daily driving to handle pot holes and some bumps. i mean i'm not going to go around and punish the hell out of them, but they will definitely see some pot holes. i really like the look of them. also, if you know of anyone who has the best deals on these rims, if you think they'll work for my car, please let me know.

you can go directly to www.rotawheels.com those wheels from rota are okay. rota does extensive R&D on their wheels. they put their original wheel (from a mold) on an impact test before they mass produce, if it doesn't pass they create a different mold. since you're from Kansas (i think) you can also go to Autobahn Performance, i don't know exactly what city they're in but they're there in your state. sorry for the long post, but yeah go with Rota. safe daily driving and light enough for drag (not the 18"s though)
