Cracking Carbonfiber hood :'(

my ####in hood started cracking i have no clue how... im assuming since it started getting below freezing cold the hood would still be freezing and right above the header it started cracking... my assumtion is that the header is just so ####in hot that it cracked the cold hood... what else could possibly be the problem... cheap hood?

Are you running a heat shield on the header?
I don't suppose any of the CF hoods go so far as to copy the factory insulation on the underside of the hood.

MY VIS has small cracks around the vent. :thumbdown They won't warranty anything.

mines doing good , it is a cheapo one also . I cut out a vent over the manifold area...lets alot of heat out .
