The past weeks i have been reading that the carbon fiber altezzas that are sold for eclipses will NOT work on a 1990 laser becasue of some conflict with the key opining for the trunk. I really would like to see if it has been done or if it is possible to get carbon altezzas, i fear I may always long for stock lights as well though, maybe its jsut a ricey phase im going though,

hahaha... they all told that to me too... ohhh these 90-94 eclipse tails won't fit your 93 laser... guess what, all it took for me, was a razor blade to trim off some keying's on the side most stop light on both sides, and I made a custom seal with some rubber to keep it in place... hasn't made any problems yet... and the 90's rear bumper is the same as the eclipse? right, so it should fit way better than mine, I am putting a black mesh grill under my lights becuase if left my 93 with a 1 inch gap under the lights...

Could you please post a pic or send me a picture of your altezza set-up?
Thanks
Ben

there is a slight difference between 92-94 laser tails and 90-94 eclipse tails. if you put eclipse tails on a 92-94 laser, you will have a gap under the lights. this can obviously be fixed by getting an eclipse bumper.
dont know much about the keyhole...they are like most things on 1gs, all located in the same spot.

hey highpsi, anyways, he is running a 1990 laser, all the tails on those are the same as the 90 eclipse tails... the will line right up, no gap, and i have had no problem with the keyhole not lining up, everything fit perfectly, like i said it only requires you to get two additional things, grab a good sharp blade, like a razor blade and grab a sheet of rubber (yes they sell it), and you will have to use the blade to cut off some keyings from the plymouths outter most lights on both sides, than you have to create a custom gasket outta the rubber in order to make sure it stays in place and applies enough pressure to keep it there but not enough to snap it... mine only has a gap due to it being a 93... and screw the buying a bumper, i'm grilling that off with some black grill in layers, so you see grill and ... yeah... it will look cool... yeah... trust me :thumb:

yea thats what i was saying, for 90-91 eclipse talon and laser tails are all interchangable, the 92-94 eclipse tails are also the same. however 92-94 laser tails are different, and the 92-94 talon tails are way different.
