Anyone out there with the Drift Kit?

I just need to know how low the car can be to fit the front air dam on without it scraping on the ground. My car is already lowered about 2.5in. I am asking this because all the pics I have seen of the kit was with the car at about the stock ride height, and the front air dam looks really low already.

i have coilovers, i let them down about half way on the sleeves and drove for about a month, then tore the front AND back bumper up going into work, sucked. so i left it til i got it repainted and raised it back up. i wouldnt suggest a body kit anyway, honestly they are kinda played out and the stock body looks much better.

the drift is about as low as the dragun z...i have had both lowered as far as possible on a 1g and both are seriously about 1.5 inches off the ground. cant even get the front of your shoe under them. my gst was lowered about 2.5 inches, so yours will be the same most lilky. i drove like that for 2 years and never broke my kit, but i did have to be careful. theres a pic in my gallery of my gst with the dragun z kit, you can kind of tell how close the bumper is to the ground.

Yeah but if you saw the stock front end on my car you would want to replace it no doubt, its beat to hell, plus the eclipse isnt my everyday driver and i have good experience with low cars and body kits. It looks like im going to have to put some metal skid plates under that front end ha ha its going to look nice my car is a little lower than the one i saw in your pics so that front end is literally going to be just off the ground. I used to have an integra with the wings west kit on it and you couldnt fit your foot underneath it either, i never had problems with smacking it up or nothing just gotta get that right angle going in and out of driveways and parking lots. Either that or just park on the street.

my car is as low as a 1g can go, it was basically like driving a brick around because of how hard it was lowered. If its not your everyday car, and you know what its like driving a car that low, go for it. I never had any problems and i used the car pretty hard.

also, I built up the top side of the bottom lip (if that makes sence) so that if the bumper would hit the ground, there was less chance of breaking.

look at my gallery. i have a 2g withVIS drift front end and my car is lowered with h&r sport springs, 1.7 front, 1.4 rear, which evens my car out nicely and looks great. however my car is now very low and i do really have to watch out when i drive. i hit it a few times but VIS is a good company and there fiberglass is nice and thick. So i suggest you get a quality bumper or expect to break it or you can buy my car with it already done
