:D Hey everybody, here are a few pictures I took this afternoon of my Talon :talon: I will try to get some pictures tonight once it gets dark of my dash (blue LEDs, no more orange color) and upload them later tonight. I tried to get another picture of my false floor in the hatch area (w/ mounted battery box) but it didn't turn out so I can get that tomorrow if anybody is interested. Besides that, let a bro know what you think!

how hard was it to replace those leds like the one in the ignition is awsome i already replaced my ashtray one but that super simple. i dont like the yellow beacause i got gauge face and a bright head unit and the knobs are still yellow :thumbdown

also what did you use to replace the yellow around the hazards, rear defroster, and rear wipercontrol???

Very cool interior work. What kind of bumper is that on the front? Its about the cleanest after market one I have seen on a 1g...

lookin good man. what paint did you use on your wheels?

The finish and fit looks good, but the color looks out of place in that it's the only thing inside that color, at least from the pics that's how it seems.

Hey, sorry I didn't have enough time to get pics of my interior lights last night, but I will hopefully get them tonight. Thanks for the comments everybody! Oh and to answer a few questions...

Rims: The rims came out as glossy as they did because believe me, I put that clearcoat on thick! It is Duplicolor "Graphite", their high-temp wheel finish. After spraying the base color coat, I ruffed the surface once again and started to spray the clear. First I did one light coat followed by another after waiting 10 minutes. The third coat then was my heavy coat. When putting on that coat I wanted it thick so I put it on so that it was thick enough to stay in one spot but with no runs. The clearcoat was so heavy it made the rim appear "smokey" or whited over but once it dried.... :thumb: :thumb:

LEDs: The LEDs were not that difficult to replace, just kind of time consuming. Taking apart the switch, sanding down the diodes, then soldering them into place took the longest.

The orange / yellow around the wiper control etc all I did was paint the stock ones. They are really fragile so be careful taking them off!

Toggle Switches: The 4 switches are as follows: Radar, neon under dash OMG , foglights "driving" lights, then foglights themselves.

Bumper: Stock bumper! Here is another picture below...

Bhop: It looks pretty good in person, kind of one of those things you have to see to really get the overall feel for the inside. Personally I like the color but would rather have something a bit darker, not sure what color yet though.

Thanks for the comments everybody! Positive or negative, it's all good to me! I like my DSM a lot and I am slowely building it how I want it so as long as I am happy with it then I'm...

Hey thanks! Oh and nice to hear from you Brandon  I haven't talked to you for awhile, shoot me a PM sometime! How are you liking that 2g?

:dsm: The wax I use is Meguire's Gold Class. In my opinion this is the best wax I found. Leaves the paint nice and soft especially after a good claying. :thumb: I have not tried Zaino products yet though so I wonder how that would compare.

Ok I tried to get some pictures of the interior lights, but I did not have much luck. I also took a few quick shots of the headlights while I was at it. Anybody have any ideas what I can do to get decent night shots of the interior? My camera is a Kodak DC3400 w/ 2.0 megapixels if that matters.

Exactly how did you replace the leds in the dash.

Did you just buy aftermarket leds and solder them in?

I'm not a fan of the radio up top with only those few switches and TT in the radio opening, looks kinda barren down there.

however, on overall craftsmanship, i still give you :thumb: :thumb: (2 thumbs up!!)

as for the blue LEDs, very nice touch. i don't think i'd have the patience for that. and like you mentioned, you build it the way YOU want.

Super Clean car overall man, nice job.

Nice looking car. Looks like you really spent the time in this car. anything done to the engine???? Post some pics of it if you have. :dsm:
