Suggestions on Black Paint

Yeah so my car was vandalized as some of you may know I am getting it repainted at the end of winter so I was wondering if anyone recommended a style of black paint like Pyrenesse Black Pearl off the JDM EVO's or something like that let me know if you have a pic thats even better or a color trim code thansk in advanced

i love that black color that the JDM evos come in, it would probably look pretty nice on an eclipse.

flat black like the flat black terror 240sx in sport compact car or their wrx. I think it would look awesome on a 1g and I'm halfway tempted to do it to mine if the paint is too bad. I don't really know how bad the paint is since I bought it completely covered in corn dust (sat by an elevator, broken down, for over a year) it sat in my shop for a few weeks then got taken to the K&K motorsports for the build, so I honestly don't know how good the paint is, sad, haha.

yeah i was debating that option with the flat black i saw sport compacts STi it looked sweet but what about the spoiler should that be a glossy black that would look sweet or imagine if i could find a CF version of a 1ga Talon wing , see the only thing holding me back from this is the fact that the kid who keyed my car goes to my school and if i can get a new paint job he is paying for it so i don't know what i want to do.

im not certain the black your looking for but if you wanna frag attention id say to opt for a hok shimrin black, maybe spice it up with with a burgandy kandy or a little fine orange flake, or a pearl over the top would look tight.... just a thought

I personally really like the black on the Acura TL as it has what looks like pearl in it. Look really nice.

Hey,

Some of those blacks suggested are nice. Another one you might want to look at is the new pearl black that is on the VW GLi's. I can't think of the exact name for it, but if you look it up on edmunds or on volkswagons website I'm sure it will give it to you there. I might have it, but am not positive on it but ehh its just a suggestion.

house of kolor is definately the way to go....hok paint is designed for custom work, they don't remake manufacturer's colors, so you won't find any dsm colors in their product line, however, they do have some rather nice black pearls and such, i recommend going to their website http://www.houseofkolor.com if you want some samples of their paint, go to the contact page and email them with your mailing address and the like, i did it, and i was shocked at the amount of material they sent me, they even sent me a price list....i know thats what im usin for paint when i re-paint my 1g next year

yeah well the car is already black and if i paint it any other color it would look bad because i am not pulling the motor and the engine bay would be a diff. color besides i always wanted a clean black it looks nice i think
