Headlight Bulbs in Back-Up Lights?

Assuming they would even fit (which I don't think they would, not w/o fabbing up a bracket) you'd have to rewire the whole circuit with much larger wire (10awg would probably be fine), and upgrade the fuse (30A). Then on top of that, you couldn't keep them on for more than a few seconds at a time, because halogen bulbs get really hot really fast. The rear bumper is polyurethane. It melts/heat distorts pretty easy.

You can buy replacement Hyper White, blue or what ever tickles your fantsy for the backup lights. Not sure what type they are. Just check your owners manual.

Is there any other reverse lighting options for brighter lights? I can barely see with my reverse lights. My dad suggested what he did with one of his cars, and put fog lights back there with a switch. Thanks :thumb:

Yea thats a good idea actually, i have the same problem seeing when im backing up. I know they work, yet i cant really tell a difference with em on or off.

I don't know about you guys but my reverse lights light up the road nicely and they are stock. Not a problem.

There's..... these ones. Oh, but we wouldn't want to break any laws.....

as long as the bulbs dont get too hot in the small area inside a reverse lens and start melting it.
