Glossed lights???

Has anyone ever tried just using some really high gloss clear coat on their lights to make them have that same shine as a new coat of paint???

Ive never seen that, but i figure if it wasnt done PERFECTLY it might distort the light some an night.

My headlights were hazy before but I cleaned them and clear coated them they still look alittle foggy but shiny.

yeah, i know it probably would the headlights... but i ment like the tail lights... becuase I got these EURO ones on right now from matrixracing... but I can never seem to keep them shiny, everytime it rains and all, plus i live down a dirt/gravel road...
