rattling sunroof

alright every time i shut the door or push up on the sunroof from the inside there is alittle give ein the sunroof glass, it works and everything, but is annoying as hell.....does anyone know a way to fix it???

Yep. If you slide back your sunroof dealie and look real close there should be little star screws in there. You need to tighten these. Get a set of star wrenches and go to town.

i have the exact same thing.. i looked at the sunroof from the inside and there are these three screws on each side of the sunroof, i tried to turn them and they were loose.... i tightened them and the rattle went away... give it a try and see if it helps.... some people have even put some lock-tite (sp??) before putting them back..

I took the entire thing apart, lubed it up w/ some WD, and put it back together tight. Worked well.

Use Loc-Tite on those screws. Don't try to kill them when you tighten them. The front's supposed to be 1mm lower than the rear (yeh )

i currently have the same thing i tightend them but it is still loose is there supose to be washers on them if so i need to get some

Junk yard worked for me, and if I can find a 2g DSM in the junkyard in Canada I'm sure you'll have a way better chance than I did

i tightened mine as tight as they will go and it had no effect but am having the exact same issue as mentioned in the first post.
