yet another gauge question

Ok I'm slowly starting to mod my '97 GSX after getting it fixed... I figured a boost gauge was a must, since the stock one seems... ehhm... useless?!?

Anyways... I've done a bit of searching and simply wasn't satisfied with those cheapo lookin autometer gauges... I've looked at Defi BF gauges, which look simply amazing, but with a not-so-nice price tag, I prefered spending my dough on true performance mods later...

So my question is, what gauges look good, work well and are accurate (i'd prefer electronic ones)? I've PMd some fellow DSMers, but never got an answer...

The Ractive Carbon Fiber Gauges are really nice.. im not sure of how accurate they but they arent very expensive....

well greddy makes some sick gauges but you dont want to spend that kind of money, i would just run autometer, they are a big company and have been out there for a long time, so they cant be too inaccurate

Just go Autometer...you won't be upset with the product and every once in a while you will get people with the needle not on the 0 mark which means its time for a new one but otherwise, just save yourself a hundred bucks and go autometer...If you are willing to spend the $$$ though get greddy electronic gauges...best out there qualitywise...just check them out, you will forget about the DEFI's

Found some pricing on the those Autometer Nexus gauges, they are from a dealer who says they'll be available the first of the year:

now that's sick gauges!!! and more affordable than DEFI... thanks for the input! And i'm not in a rush for gauges at all... my car's in a garage stored for the winter (quebec winters are way too harsh on a car) and it wont see the sunlight before april... so I got plenty of time...

D you know if these gauges will be made in 52mm only like all other autometer gauges, or will they be available in 60mm?

I'd like to set 2 of them in the center vent panel and another one in the lighter panel... d'you think 60mm gauges will fit in there?

A friend of mine has a boost gauge like that also, but his is a Megan Racing gauge from eBay. Gauges like that look super nice at night but have tons of glare during the daytime. BTW I hardly think Autometers are "cheapo." They might not be as nice as an electronic GReddy gauge or something, but they're also a lot less $$$.
