You need to cut a hole behind the stock ones so you can reach the nut. Be very careful not to drop the nut after down in between the hood.

Why does it not suprise me that you know how to install these?

They added horsepower on my car, thats why i got them ;)

I've installed many of these on friends cars, so i know from experience, but they arent on my car, thats one product i never liked.

LOL damn...i bow down to u...after drilling n getting cut myself i finally have those things installed...now i need help on wiring the damn things

It is so easy to wire the lights. it took me around 20 minutes to do the whole install process and wiring. You can connect them to your driving lights or any other soure that is activated by the turning on of the lights. The best thing is that there is a switch to turn them off, so if a cop pulls u over and looks at the car the look shiny and notglowing of color, or if u are with people that dont like them, then turn them off.

I had them when nobody around really did yet. A #@%#@%#@%#@%#@% to install, then within 2 minutes, 1 shorted out. I snipped the wires, and now I am back to the stock ones. THANK GOD!!!! I like the stock ones much better now. Every car here= high ride height, chrome 18" ghetto cruiser wheels, altezzas, and led shidookie!

okay i got all that but now about the switch... since i have an RS i dont have cruise control i have just blank space for buttons there and i wanna put the switch there...i looked inside n it looks like the wires go to the other side of the console...i wanna kno where would the wires go thru for me to do this...like i have a good idea but i play it safe n ask before i make sum unsightly holes or a big mistake

Delted all off-topic posts.

If someone needs help installing something. People with the experince should help. No rude comments needed.

Speaking of non-illuminated nozzles, I had a current-model Galant as a rental while my transmission was being rebuilt, and the washer nozzles in that thing were heaven. Rather than giving you a messy jet, they sprayed evenly over the entire screen. Heaven!

Now, to see whether I can get a set to fit my 1G!

ahh! can sumone help me with this! i dunno where to put the wires THROUGH to get to my console....sum guy is telling me he'll do it for 20 bucks n im like HEELLLL NO!

Depends on where your putting them, are you wiring them to the sidemarkers or an on/off switch?

If your doing it to a toggle switch of some sort, drill a small hole on the drivers side firewall of the car and put the wires through, they should drop right under your dashboard. Then just wire them into the switch, also ground it and run some type of power wire to a fusebox (radio or something that turns off and on in the car) or battery.

I never wired any to the sidemarkers, so if you do it that way your gonna have to splice the wires and tie those wires into it.

I hope this helps somewhat, i suck at giving directions.

THANK U VERY MUCH!! i was thinking about doing that but someone told me there was a way to do it without a hole...bs! 2morrow im putting those in...HALLELUJAH!

Back when I got mine, I just spliced tham in with the driving lights in the fround so they turn on with the parking lights or the headlights. I got my wires (not for the LEDs, but for an amp and neons) through the little rubber grommet that the brake booster(?) line goes through the firewall. Actually it might be for the cruise control, I'm not sure, haven't traced it down and don't really care that much, I just know it can be done without drilling.

  Your not actually asking for help on installing those g@y washer led's are you? Oh man, this board never stops to amaze me.

everyone is entitled to their own style and opinions, so if a guy wants to install them don't give him a hard time, just help out. one way you can wire them if you haven't already is to run th epositive to your fuse box then connect that wire to one toggle pole on the toggle switch and run another wire to a ground source. that should do it
