Can you use vinyl dye on a whole entire dash? or even the whole entire door panel?? even on the plastics?

I am guessing you used the sure-coat... did u use any clear coat over it or anything to prevent damage to it? also what did you use to spray it on?

I would kill for all black interior. I've just always been iffy about these dies or painted interiors. Im not saying I dont like them, (hell I want to do it) plus ive seen plenty of members go through with it and it looks great. But I would have done it already if I could know for a fact that it will last me a long time without fading, chipping, or in any way looking unatural. I just would hate to take the risk of screwing up my interior and having to deal with it cause I dont have the money to purchase a new set. It would suck to be rolling bad ass black leather then all of a sudden when Im shining up the inside with black magic or any kind of cleaner my tan begins to expose. That is my biggest worry. Ahhh, I'll look into this subject more and maybe I'll finally grow a pair and do it.

In no way am I thread jacking, I just wanted to put in my .02 even though they werent asked for. I also want to see where this thread goes, im hoping it will help.

Sure can. My dash was grey, until I went at it with a can of dupli-color vinyl dye. Looks great. It will be coming on a year now with the black dyed dash, and no fading. The only problem is now i have to dust my dashboard .
