This post is sort of a mix of questions, but it mostly pertains to car audio, so please bear with me here!

I may be buying a 95 TSi AWD that has all the supporting mods, but stock T-25 turbo, so the only thing it really needs thrown on it is a bigger turbo, I'm probably going to put a 20g on there, and it needs either a ported manifold or a new manifold all together, an intake manifold, probably a Dejon Tool, and the car will be finished. (then I'll throw in a set of cams, and be completely done)

So here are my questions.

1) What would you do first? Audio system or the speed mods? I believe the guy took the speakers out of the car to lighten it up, so I have NO tunes in this car.

2) I want to throw in a head unit I have in my SUV (pioneer, sort of old, but it's still a very nice head, better than any I've seen in any of my friend's cars) and I'll be putting in a new set of pioneer 4 way speakers, in front and back, and a single 10 inch sub in the trunk, for the extra thump of some metal songs. The 50x4 head unit isn't powerful enough, and I want more power going to my speakers. My question is can I get an amp that can produce 80x4 at 2 ohms / 70x4 at 4 ohms and can I combine the power from my headunit and the aftermarket amp to make it like 130-140 watts going into each speaker? Also, if I were to buy a single 10 inch sub how big of an amp would I need? Hopefully some of you guys and girls will be able to help me out. Thanks!!

the supporting mods for what ??? and what are the mods ?? Dejon tool makes intake manifolds ??? I thought they only make piping , but anyways

2) What are you going to use the car for , I see you have 2 cars in your profile , is this going to be an occasional day at the track car and daily driven or an all out project car that wont see much street ?

3) what are your goals ? I don't think taking speakers out will change the performance more than you eating too many oreo cookies for desert . I would say put at least 4 speakers and a decent HU unless you want to gut the whole thing .

4) can I combine the power from my headunit and the aftermarket amp to make it like 130-140 watts going into each speaker? , No you cant do that . 70 watts RMS is a lot of power for car speakers , your ears will bleed if you have 4x 150 W RMS going to each speaker and 70 w should be enough

5) for a ten inch I would get just a small two channel that you bridge , alpine makes one for like 150 ( cdn) and it makes for a pretty decent amp for something like 200Wrms for just a little thump like you described , and you can get away with paying just 250 $ ( or cheaper ) for sub ,amp and box .

You might want to specify things a bit ,I know you're not familliar with these cars 9 i'm assuming) Set your goals and go from there , oh and try some audio forums . for your audio q's

you dont need to get another amp to run your in car speakers...
as far as subs go, you can go as big as you'd like.
my buddy has a 1500w mono RF amp running into a 1000w RF power sub.
on the other hand, in my winter beater, i got a 200w RF amp going to a 250w pioneer sub. not earthshaking but gives a little thump

If you do the audio first, you may be able to listen to it for a few miles before you blow it up. However, the crankhead at the repair shop will break into your car while it's there to steal the audio equipment, so it gets to be a dicey question.

Happened to me.. hatch was broken out while at the shop, and I lost my subs, head unit, amps, and turbo timer. Do your own work, or take that shiz out before you take the car in.
