I have done the same thing, but i just used the power wire coming from my headlight switch. that way when i turn my lights on the neons come on. when i turn them off so do the neons. cant ever leave them on, unless lights get left on. will post pics when i get some.miteclgst said:Also there are sometimes unused fuse blocks in the driver side kick panel. With these one side will have power while the other is supposed to go to an option that you don't have. What I did is I got a spade terminal crimp and inserted it into the 12V supply side of the fuse.
I disconnected my cigarret lighter and conjured up a two position push switch that sits in the old lighter chassis. Now when you push on my cigarret lighter my interior lights come on and when you push again they go off. I didnt want any switches out in the open.
