I have a 91 Eclipse GST with the stock spoiler. It looks good but I prefer the 1G Talon spoiler that goes from the spoiler to the front window. If anyone needs to see my spoiler, check my gallery. I'd like to swap to a Talon spoiler but I need to know if its difficult and if it will even work. Thank you.

Arent the Talons and Eclipse's spoilers the same? They look the same. No difference to me

The spoilers are different. My Eclipse spoiler stops before the back windows. I'm looking to put the Talon wrap-around on my car. My spoiler is stock blue but it really could use some paint. Does anyone know if I could even put a Talon spoiler on my car?

It'll work, but you'll have to drill the holes and stuff for the wraparound part up by the doors. Does just your spoiler need paint, or the whole car?? The easiest way to do it would probably be to swap the doors and hatch. (are the body kits the same? I'm not sure...) then you only have to worry about drilling holes below the rear window. As for taking it off someone else's Talon, I pulled it off of my parts car because someone wanted it, and the paint below the wraparound part was just shot, I don't think I could've even buffed it back to a decent shine.

So I need to re-drill for it to work? DANG. My spoiler isnt in bad shape just needs some paint. I really would like a wrap-around but if its going to be to much work then I might just paint my spoiler black to match the color scheme.

Sure ... if either of you guys are willing to give them up I will take em. I know someone else was interested so its their call ... Im not sure on the diffs, all I know is I have no spoiler whatsoever. Clean but not my style ...

You realise we're talking about the 1 piece first gen spoiler right?(The 2nd gen is 5 piece and 1 piece if i remember correctly.) If so i have the 3 piece eagle wrap around if you have the eclipse one. I probably live less than 20 minutes from you.

ok since this is now the ohio spoiler post. i have a 3 peice i think that wraps around and i need one without the hole for the rear wiper im in jackson if that helps

change the title of the thrend and name it uniting of Ohio people! :thumb:

anyways, I am sure you would require little bit of drilling to get the 1ga talon spoiler on the eclipse, but I think the eclipse spoiler is pretty ill looking itself.
