speaker mounting?

I have a 1g. can u fit 5 1/4 in the door and then make a template to hold 6 1/2 in the back. What size is the hole in the dash. My car was gutted when i got it so it had nothing not even a shift knob. Thanks for any help.

Ok, I checked around and you can fit 6.5 and 6.75 speakers in the doors and in the back. The hole in the dash will fit a 3.5 or a 4. but the 4 might take some custom molding. If you want something bigger in the back, you can cut the metal brace back there to fit a 6X9.
